Dinosaur Birthday Party DIY's

For Oliver's second birthday we chose the theme of his latest obsession, anything prehistoric, more specific from the Jurassic period. DINOSAUR Birthday Parties I found were a super easy, fuss free party theme, I am attaching some pictures now.
Again I used my favorite chevron boxes from oriental trading, and found the die cuts at the dollar tree. (takes a quick minute to glue the little dins to the boxes)

In the cake take i used some wooden boxes to hold M&M's chocolate and crackers as well as some apple sauce, all kid approve snacks. The Frames are from Ikea, and the signs were designed by me.
The cake table, simple, colorful and perfectly RAWRSOME.
Once again we decided to go with Public for the birthday cake and pastelitos. Everyone loves publix cake.

The balloons and the table runner, along with the inflatable dino were from Orientaltrading.com
I wanted a toddler approved birthday activity, so I used his paddling pool, filled it with sand (one of the perks of living in south florida is that you have beaches all around) the i buried plastic dinosaurs i bought at the dollar tree) and I created a dino dig.
Inflatable dinosaur served as a photo prop, and decoration. (Also from Oriental trading)
 Bouncy house fun!
The birthday boy, went to sleep with a smile that night, after all the birthday fun.

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversary

Anniversary Celebration Grand Turk (Scooter Ride, Margaritaville, Governor's Beach, The Lighhouse) Bamanas, Nassau- Atlantis Resort So forgetting the fact that it took me the longest to post somenthing again, Here are some pictures from our little Anniversary getaway. The cruise was the perfect break we needed to celebrate each other, and the commitment we made. Some of the ports were a bit more fun than others, however I would blame the weather, since in bahamas was 70 degrees the getting in the atlantis waterpark was adventure per say (risking hypothermia and all, lol ). Overall my favorite port was Turks and Caicos, because we got to rent a scooter and sightsee on our own, the beach was to die for and of course enjoy a very sunny day.

Making Lemonade out of Bucketfulls of Lemons

Well this pas weekend I was supposed to have flown to Texas to visit my sister, but I dinnt make it. I should have seen it coming...first I went to sleep pretty late, then I had the alarm on my husbands nightstand ( big mistake, as he likes to snooze). Short Story we missed our flight, the next flight available left the next day (we didnt want to flight to just spend one day over there) so we decided to go up to Orlando and Tampa to spend the weekend away from home. Taking in to consideration that it was a last minute plan, it was a pleasant getaway. In Tampa we went to Ybor City and spent the afternoon at the historic downtown, then we went to this awesome brewery called Cigar City Brewery. We were going to stay and go the next day to Bush Gardens but changed our mind, and went to Islands of Adventure (Orlando) I had been dying to see the Harry Potter portion of the park- was not disapointed. This coming weekend is my 24 bday I think it's going to be a good one, pretty excited ab...
