San Francisco at Last

I know, I know, I am super late with this post, but I have been swamped with my summer to do list. I never have time to actually get things done around the house, so since this summer was a mini term for me (YAY) I was able to put a dent in some of my to do list. I will definetly put some post regarding all the accomplisments later on. Also I have been super busy enjoying my time off of school, so I have been having fun with the family and friends.
Now that I am done with all that explaining (lol) I shall proceed with the San francisco trip, We left on a thursday morning and got there early afternoon, we stayed at Inn on Broadway and although the place did look a bit sketchy the location was terrific, since it was right on Van Ness which made getting around very convinnient.
When we arrived we went to the hotel drop off the bags, and then headed to Fisherman Wharf, which was so much fun, I loved the seals on the Pier, and of course enjoyed some shopping. The next day we took a bus tour and wine tasting through Napa & Sonoma. Honestly this was by far my favorite day. I really enjoyed the wine tasting and the views, what can I say about the views. California you are a beauty. The next day we went touring in a double decker bus (talk about being touristy :)) around San francisco gotta say I loved the city!. Next day and final day we went to the Muir Woods and all I have to say is that it was nature at its best. That afternoon we spent it at Sausalito and let me tell you if I had a couple of millions just to throw around I would probably buy a house there. I loved the vive of the town and wow what houses they had. Overall I feel like the trip was a sucess, I would definetly go back. WOW that was a lot of words in one post, so I guess now come some pictures.

Tea Party

Our good Friend's Daughter celebrated her 1st birthday Party and the theme was tea party; I had the pleasure to help out with some of the decor and the teapot flower arrangements. Everything turned out fantastic, and i just wanted to share some of the pics of that day.  Sorry about the bad cellphone-picture quality but it was too late, and I was too lazy to get the camera. These were after I finished them the night before (dont mind my messy kitchen, ;)         These Amazing Cake and Yummo desserts were all done by the momma of the birthday girl, and let me tell you they were certainly delicious.

What the HEck!!! Hollywood needs new material

So today i found out.. they are actually planning to create a remake of Dirty Dancing!!! ughhh, so mad (yet secretly curious), why cant hollywood comeup with new ideas. Truly Dirty Dancing is one of those movies that I have always loved, I remember watching it with my sister and hoping that one day I would be sent to a summer camp with dancing instructors that look like Patrick, But nah, it never happened. However Im going to be sooo disapointed if it doesnt meet my expectations, they better do a good Job, I mean nobody messes with Baby!! Is anyone else enraged with these news?
